All our jewellery is lead and nickel safe and hypoallergenic. To keep your Ama jewellery looking its absolute best please try and avoid the following five S's and when it's not being worn, try to store your jewellery in air tight containers or sealed packaging.

Avoid the 5 S's

Swim - If you want your Ama jewellery to always look glamourous, remove your jewellery before taking a dip in the sea or swimming pool.

Sleep - Remember to remove your Ama jewellery before bed. Not only can your jewellery get twisted and then broken but moisture from your skin from perspiring during the night can cause discolouration.

Sweat - Sweating will encourage your jewellery to discolour, therefore avoid wearing your Ama jewellery to the gym or any other high impact sport.

Spray - Always apply perfumes, hairspray, lotions, etc. before you put on your jewellery.

Shower - Always remove your Ama jewellery before showering or bathing. Excessive water and moisture exposure may cause your jewellery to tarnish due to the chemicals in the water reacting with the alloys in the metal of your jewellery.

In a nutshell, your jewellery should always be the last thing you put on before you leave the house and the first thing you take off before you go to bed!
